The dog
that was found on August 13 in Potos, seems to have no owner. Or at least ...
nobody has contacted us. Actually, we had already suspected that, because
Yoshi, as we have called him, has a large tumor on his left back leg. His teeth
are just stubs, what could indicate that he had merely or primarily bones for
dinner. Yet he makes a healthy impression and we think he is not too old, maybe
about 5-8 years.
Since
the vet can not say whether the tumor is benign or malignant, we will have the
tumor removed and send it for a biopsy.
Another big
expense, but a necessary one to give Yoshi a chance for adoption. And if the
diagnosis is not so good, then we will try to foster Yoshi somewhere on Thassos
where he can spend the rest of his (maybe short) life with loving people.
