HELP US WITH ONLY € 1 PER MONTH

You all probably know that our funds due to Covid are dramatically lower than ever before. In fact we had to put our cat castration project on hold. Something we didn’t like to do and we kept searching for ways to raise money to continue this project.

Then we heard about TEAMING. How does it work? You sign in and on the 1st day of every month € 1 (no more, no less) will be paid from your bank account to our project.

We have more than 1.800 followers on Facebook and our website, if only half of them would join in, it means we can castrate about 20-25 cats per month, that is more than 250 cats per year!

Please join in and help us continuing this so important part of our work. After all, what is one euro?

Of course sharing this post would be very helpful as well.

RIP 10-8-2021 Falcor (Donald)

We just read the news that one of our dogs, setter Donald, lost the battle against Leishmaniasis...

Are thoughts are with April and Gavin who gave him the best years of his life.

This is what they wrote:

5 years ago I drove with my Dad to Düsseldorf to pick up our mini-Merlot, Falcor Pendragon of Gledhow. He was a stray rescued from Thassos, Greece.

Today he died and promised me he’d go find Merlot and Carew. He wasn’t so bothered about Suzy.

Fally had a horrible parasite called Leishmaniasis that slowly wore him down. It didn’t stop him from enjoy his life with us to the full…and sleeping on ever sofa available. He had the most amazing side eye and really was the best boy and took everything in his stride. We miss his little face already.

Run free sweetie, you will be missed.

Again support from Wereldasielen

We want to say a big THANK YOU once again to the Dutch organisation Wereldasielen who supported us with a large donation to cover a part of our vet and food bills.

They are always there for us in difficult times, for which we are very grateful.

Lucky Vienna

A lady, currently on the island, wanted to adopt a dog and she set her eyes on Vienna. To see if she was the right dog for her, she took Vienna with her to Sibylle to get to know her better out of the shelter. Unfortunately it turned out they weren't the right match so she decided not to take her. And we agree that this is the only right decision you can make in such a situation.

Then why Lucky Vienna???

Well... Sibylle liked Vienna very much and because we had to put Zelda to sleep a while ago, she figured she could take in another dog!

Thank you so much Sibylle, you have a big heart and we know she will have a wonderful life with you.
